ABOUT
I recently finished my BSME in Mechanical Engineering & Design at Northeastern University and am constantly trying to explore new intersections between those two disciplines. I’ve been an active student and lifelong maker, and am looking forward to expanding my professional skills as I transition into a full-time career.
I excel with hands-on projects and have a special interest in engineering within the automotive industry since troubleshooting car-related headaches is one of my favorite hobbies. I am experienced in both designing and installing car parts on everything from rusty classics to cutting-edge hybrid electric drivetrains, and also have meaningful experience with the development cycle of
consumer products.
On the design side, I have a long-standing passion for illustration and visual arts which I’ve been able to carry over into more technical applications like developing utility patents, several of which I have been named as a co-inventor on. This skill set has also proven to be a valuable tool in communicating ideas, especially in the context of rapid prototyping and team projects.
My other practical experience includes training with MIG welding, plasma cutting, laser cutting, and various 3D printing methods. I have also become familiar with high-tolerance machining and milling by participating in Northeastern’s Baja SAE team. In terms of software, I have almost 5 years of SolidWorks background, and familiarity with Onshape, Adobe Suite, MATLAB, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, as well as various 3D scanning and mesh
modeling programs.
